Chris began his career with Tyree 15 years ago as an electrical apprentice in the maintenance department before moving into the test facility, where he tested industrial transformers. He later spent two years as a Field Service Supervisor, travelling across Australia to install, test, service, and commission Tyree power and transmission transformers.
After starting a family and returning to Tyree's Braemar facility, Chris progressed from Electrical Supervisor to Manufacturing Manager within the Tyree Substation Department. He currently serves as Operations Manager at Tyree Narellan.
Throughout his career, Chris has played a pivotal role in the growth of the business. One of his most significant achievements was leading the establishment of two new Tyree facilities, transforming them from greenfield operations into highly profitable business units. He has also been instrumental in building high-performing teams that promote a strong safety culture and a commitment to quality.
