Overview
In a data centre the electrical supply has one job and no excuses. Redundancy is contracted, commissioning is witnessed, and the load profile is unlike anything a standard distribution specification assumes. Tyree engineers, tests and supports to that standard.
What data centres and communications need from their supply
Redundancy is the specification. N+1 and 2N configurations mean transformers and substations are specified as a system rather than as units, with impedance matching, load sharing and fault discrimination resolved before anything is built.
The load is not a normal load. UPS and rectifier plant inject harmonic content continuously, and a transformer specified against a clean sinusoidal assumption runs hot and ages early. K rated fluids and appropriate derating are design inputs, not options.
Then there is scale and witnessed testing. Facilities expand in phases against fixed handover dates, and commissioning is witnessed by the client. Testing in our own laboratories, with full traceability, means acceptance is documented before equipment reaches site.

Why data centre operators choose Tyree
ENGINEERED TO SPEC
Designed for the load you actually have
K rated fluid options, derating and impedance matching engineered against your UPS and rectifier profile rather than a nominal assumption.
MANUFACTURED HERE
Local capacity for phased expansion
Manufactured in Australia and New Zealand with capacity exceeding 3,000 substations a year, so phase two is not a shipping risk.
TESTED IN HOUSE
Acceptance documented before dispatch
Routine, special and type testing in our own ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified laboratories, with full material and process traceability for every unit.
AFTER DELIVERY
Field service, not just supply
On-site installation support, commissioning, training and in-field testing, then ongoing service, maintenance and technical support.
