50kVA to 20MVA, over 3,000 units a year

Tyree manufactures a comprehensive range of packaged outdoor substations at its dedicated substation factory, which has an annual production capacity exceeding 3,000 units.

The facility includes a purpose-built assembly hall designed specifically for the construction and testing of kiosk and padmount substations, serving both electrical utilities and industrial clients. Our substation solutions cover ratings from 50 kVA to 20 MVA and all voltage classes up to 36kV.

Mini Pads

Proven, Reliable and Quickly Deployable

Ratings of 100–1500 kVA, three phase, 11 and 22 kV, fluid filled. Approved for New Zealand distribution network underground construction standards, with corrosion resistant tank finish and aluminium HV and LV cubicles. Type tested and proven in New Zealand networks as a preference for utility EDPs.

Elongated Type Substations

Designed for Scale, Built for Accessibility

Ratings of 315–10,000 kVA, up to 36 kV, fluid filled. Elongated footprint enabling segregation and flexible integration, with protection and control customisation in accordance with AS3000 and options for SCADA and ADMS integration.

Square Type Substations

Compact and Versatile for Network Solutions

Ratings of 315–2500 kVA, up to 36 kV, fluid filled. Square footprint padmount arrangements to AS62271.202, with self bunding, K rated fluid options and cubicles in 5000 series marine grade aluminium or 300 series stainless steel.

Defence Substations

Purpose Built for Defence Applications

Ratings of 100–1,500 kVA, up to 24 kV, fluid filled. ADF Manual of Infrastructure Electrical Engineering (MIEE) compliant, with full segregation for operations and maintenance and DESN cubicle, with or without PCMS.
