Overview
Rail, road, port and water projects run to contracted dates with penalties attached. The electrical package is rarely on the critical path until it is. Tyree delivers packaged substations tested and ready to connect, on the date the program needs them.
What infrastructure projects need from their supply
The program is the specification. Staged energisation, possession windows and commissioning dates are contracted, and a supplier who misses one costs the principal contractor more than the equipment is worth. Delivery certainty outranks almost everything else.
Installation conditions are constrained. Tunnels, rail corridors, port aprons and pump stations rarely offer the space or the access a switchroom does, so equipment has to arrive as a single lift, pre-tested, with the interfaces already resolved.
Then there is compliance across the chain. Authority standards, Chain of Responsibility and National Heavy Vehicle regulations govern how equipment is transported and installed, and every step needs documentation that survives an audit.
