With more than 25 years in the Australian wire and cable industry, Andrew Richmond has built a career focused on growth, innovation and strong customer relationships.
Andrew founded J.R. Wire Pty Ltd in 1997, supplying magnet wire to the transformer, motor OEM and motor rewind sectors. In 2000, he rebranded the business as Austech Wire & Cable, expanding into the low-voltage copper cable market and leading the company through a successful period of growth before its acquisition by the Tyree Group.
Following the acquisition, Andrew joined the Tyree Group as Strategic Projects Lead and now serves as General Manager Supply Chain, where he continues to draw on his extensive industry experience to support the business, its customers and its people.
