Stephen Donnelley is an experienced company director, business leader and governance professional with more than 40 years' experience building and leading successful Australian businesses and over 35 years serving as both executive and non-executive director.
As founder of National Hire Group, Stephen grew the business into one of Australia's leading equipment rental companies before serving as a Director of Coates Hire Group. Today, as Managing Director of Donnelley Industrial Group, he continues to provide strategic leadership while overseeing the long-term growth of the business.
Stephen is recognised for his expertise in board governance, strategic planning, organisational performance, risk oversight and financial stewardship. A Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), he is highly regarded for his practical leadership style and ability to guide organisations through growth and change.
As President of Rowing Australia, Stephen is committed to strengthening governance across the sport while fostering high-performance environments that support the development of athletes, coaches, volunteers and employees. His leadership is focused on building sustainable organisations, developing people and creating a culture where individuals and teams can achieve their full potential.
