The UNSW Nuclear Innovation Centre has launched with a $7.5 million contribution from the Sir William Tyree Foundation. The donation establishes research scholarships, supports emerging academics, and advances nuclear engineering research, strengthening Australia's capability and developing the next generation of leaders in nuclear science and technology.

The Sir William Tyree Foundation welcomed its 2025 Scholars to Tyree Transformers for the annual Factory Day. Across two days, Scholars explored advanced manufacturing, connected with Tyree leaders, toured ANSTO's research facilities, and gained valuable insight into the innovation, engineering and collaboration shaping Australia's future.

The Sir William Tyree Foundation has announced an $8 million donation to the Powerhouse Parramatta, establishing the Tyree Foundation Gallery. One of the museum's largest exhibition spaces, the gallery will showcase nationally and internationally significant exhibitions exploring engineering, technology and culture, inspiring new ideas and future generations.
