Tyree’s gift establishes the Tyree Foundation Gallery, one of the most significant gallery spaces at Sydney’s new world class museum, featuring 2,000 square metres of floor space and an 8-metre-high ceiling. The gallery will present nationally and internationally important exhibitions that connect audiences with new ideas around engineering, technology and culture. The Tyree gift will also establish an annual Australian Engineering Summit at Powerhouse Museum to bring together engineering leaders from across Australia and the world.
