Tyree recently designed, supplied and delivered a 66/33kV 55MVA ONAN/ONAF Power Transformer for the Jemalong 50MW Solar Farm located 30 kilometres from Forbes in Central New South Wales.
Tyree’s Field Service team supervised the delivery of the transformer on site and completed the site assembly, site acceptance testing and pre-commissioning of the transformer prior to handover to our customer. The Jemalong Solar Farm was energised on the 9th December 2021 and will provide clean energy for Australian households and businesses.
This project continues Tyree’s ongoing efforts in support of Australia’s energy transition and follows on from other recent clean energy projects which Tyree has supported. We have supplied our transformers into the following projects;
