Our latest and largest to date Kiosk Transformer Substation is 10MVA, KNAN rated with enhanced protection, reduced sound level and integrated bunding. Tyree Transformers have designed and supplied KNAN transformers from 10kVA since 2006; produced locally in our Australian power and distribution transformer factories to Australian and International Standard.
This 10MVA transformer kiosk substation is also designed and manufactured with line and load side switchboards to incorporate differential protection of the transformer including enhanced protection, earth fault and metering functions. The switchgear is automated and features a recloser rated circuit breaker on the load side. Line and load side GIS switchboards feature a split bus for isolation of circuit breakers for maintenance and a dedicated protected auxiliary supply for substation services via a Tyree distribution transformer.
