The Tyree Foundation announce the first recipient of the Sir William Tyree Scholarship for engineering studies at RMIT

The Tyree Foundation are pleased to announce the inaugural recipient of the Sir William Tyree scholarships, Miss Claudia McCutcheon.

Claudia hails from Warrnambool in country Victoria and is a very worthy recipient of the scholarship who has commenced studies for a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) (Honours) degree and is already achieving excellent results from her studies. Claudia also invests plenty of effort in co-curricular activities including volunteering with Youth Without Borders.

Robbie Fennell (nee Tyree) in announcing the first scholarship stated; “On behalf of the The Tyree Foundation I am very pleased to announce Claudia McCutcheon as the inaugural scholarship winner awarded in memory of my late father Sir William. I am very proud the Tyree Foundation, supported by the Tyree manufacturing businesses, is able to continue the philanthropic works of the Tyree family by supporting Claudia and other students from regional Australia in their development as engineers and leaders of the future.”
