Within our large distribution transformer category, we provide a full spectrum of sizes ranging from 500kVA to 3500kVA, covering all voltage classes up to 36kV. We are dedicated to a wide range of electrical distribution needs, providing optimal solutions for our customers' unique requirements.
Our dedicated Large Distribution Transformer factory produces up to 6,000 units per annum and utilises world leading equipment, automation and technology for the full production process across manufacturing, assembly, drying, fluid filling and testing. Tyree’s large distribution transformers are widely used across all industry sectors including but not limited to industry sectors including utilities, energy generation & storage including hydrogen production, BESS, solar PV and wind, EV charging, oil & gas, mineral processing, mining, oil and gas, rail transport, defence and industry.
This range includes but is not limited to; Padmount, Ground mount transformers, Substation transformers, Earthing transformers, Traction booster transformers, Inverter transformers, Step-up and step-down transformers.
Details
Padmounted and Groundmount distribution transformers with ratings from 5-3,500kVA and up to 36kV network voltages are available.
Single (1) Phase, Three (3) Phase and design variants of to customer and system specifications.
Fluid filled distribution transformers of these ratings in both mineral oil and ester based fluid for ONAN and KNAN specifications.
Sealed tank designs with dry air cushion as recommended for Australian and New Zealand conditions. Other arrangements customised on request.
Design and manufactured to Australian/New Zealand standards for fabrication and surface treatment offering surface finishes to AS2312, AS4680 and applicable site requirements to ensure a reliable and long life product solution.
Cable termination options for air, solid and screened terminations with a customer focus to ensure on site ease of cable jointing and operational reliability.
Compliant and registered to E3 MEPS requirements.
Type tested to AS/NZS60076, and/or IEC60076 standards as applicable and required.
