In another first Tyree has recently supplied and commissioned an 11kV/66KV 25/27MVA Generator Step-up Transformer for the Wyangala Dam Hydro Power Station located near Cowra, NSW.
This power transformer was wholly designed, manufactured and tested by the Tyree team at our Mittagong operations.
The transformer successfully passed all required routine and special tests with ease, whilst also meeting the critical efficiency requirements of the specification for this sustainable energy generation project.
The successful commissioning of this project by the Tyree team, proves our increasing capability in the manufacture of power transformers and continues to strengthen our reputation as a competent Australian manufacturer.
