The Tyree Foundation continues support to Challenge Southern Highlands.

The Tyree Foundation has continued its support of Challenge Southern Highlands with the recent donation of a new Pantech Truck and a Twin Cab Utility valued at $110,000. The vehicles will be integral to the continued growth of the Challenge Southern Highlands business operations at Welby Garden Centre and their Gardening Services operation.

Challenge Southern Highlands is an Incorporated Association and a community-based charitable organisation an Australian Disability Enterprise providing training and employment opportunities for over 50 individuals with intellectual disabilities in a professional caring environment. The Challenge businesses operations include the Welby Garden Centre, a Packaging Services, Secure Document Destruction Service, Gardening Services and Transitional Housing Services at Challenge House in Mittagong.

The Tyree Foundation is a registered charity and receives its funding from the profits earned by the Tyree Group of companies including Tyree Transformers based at Braemar near Mittagong in the Southern Highlands. The Tyree Foundation has a long history of philanthropic activities and continues a long term commitment to support the community of the Southern Highlands where the Tyree Group major business operations and its employees are based.
