ITC System Administrator

Tyree Transformers is a dynamic and growing manufacturer situated in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Located at Braemar near Mittagong, we design and manufacture transformers and associated electrical equipment for power utilities and industrial customers across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Tyree is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated team player with great technology skills to join our IT team. With strong problem solving skills and ability to support level 1 & 2 roles that will be client focused.

Essential Technology / Skills Required:

  • 5 Years’ experience in ICT Infrastructure role
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows Server, Linux Server, Active Directory, M365 Hybrid setup, Windows Desktop, Group Policies, SharePoint
  • Experience with LAN/WAN configuration and support including Firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPN’s and Wi-Fi management
  • Backup management, support and testing.
  • Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices regarding privacy, security and regulatory compliance
  • PABX and VOIP support and configuration
  • Experience with VMware and HyperV virtualization
  • Ownership of local IT Systems Updates / Upgrades
  • Documentation and IT Asset management of systems with change management experience.
  • Automation and software installation scripting
  • Patching and security of servers, desktops

Also desirable, but not essential, is experience in:

  • Manufacturing Equipment including PLC equipment
  • SQL Server experience in installation, configuration and optimization
  • Managing website content updates – WordPress CMS
  • Security/Access control Systems
  • Programming skills in C#
  • SYSPRO ERP experience.
