Tyree Transformers recently supplied transformers and kiosk substations for a power system upgrade project for Hunter Water’s 10’s Corner, Balickera, Beresfield, Borestation, Grahamstown, Masonite, Schroder, Tomago sites.
This project included the supply of:
2 x 33kV / 433V 750KVA Kiosk Substations which included;
- LV Motor Control centres
- SCADA System
- 33kV Ring Main Units c/w full remote motor operation on isolation and earth switches
7 x 6.6kV / 433V 315KVA up to 1500KVA Kiosk Substations which included;
- LV Motor Control centres
- SCADA System
- 6kV Ring Main Units c/w full remote motor operation on isolation and earth switches
- 19 x 33KV/433V 30KVA and 315KVA pole Transformers
- 9 x 33KV/3.3V 2500KVA up to 5000KVA Ground Mount transformers
The kiosk substations were customised by the Tyree engineering team to meet the stringent requirements of Hunter Water for fully remote controlled motorised operation of both isolation and earthing switches on the Ring Main Units via their SCADA system.
This project demonstrates Tyree’s continued commitment to the water sector through successfully delivering customised transformers and kiosk substations.
